  • Cessna 206: 4 Seats, up to 800 lbs.
  • Beaver: 6 Seats, up to 1,200 lbs.

What if the weather becomes a problem?
To ensure that your connections in and out of Kodiak go smoothly, always allow for one day on each side of your charter package. If weather complicates your take off or pick up, this provides you one day to ensure that you meet your other airline connections.

What types of clothing and equipment should I bring when going to a remote area?
  • Rain Gear (make sure it will fit over the tops of any boots) and layered clothing.
  • Extra socks.
  • Calf-high rubber boots, available in Kodiak for about $12.00.
  • Comfortable hiking boots.
  • Slip on camp shoes.
  • A five-day additional supply of any prescription medication.
  • Sunglasses (polarized lenses let you see into the water).
  • Spare pair of prescription glasses.
  • A journal for your travels and of course, a pen or two.
  • A baseball cap is valuable in the case of eye shade and to keep the rain of your glasses.
  • Binoculars (7x50 are best).
  • Camera (200 mm lens is handy for serious photographers).
  • Camcorder (have spare, fully charged batteries with you).
  • Luggage (soft duffels are best with a hard case for cameras, etc.).
