Andrew Airways will take you on one of the most magnificent, non-stop, narrated scenic tours. You will see the beatiful, rugged mountainous terrain that encompasses Kodiak Island, or the scenic timbered country that makes up nearby Afognak Island.

On either of these tours you will see a native village, commercial fishing operations and the possibility of seeing Kodiak wildlife and Kodiak marine life along the way. Our passengers are fitted with voice activated headsets, Guaranteeing good communication between the pilot and each passenger during the tour.

Andrew Airways provides an exhilarating scenic tour of Kodiak Island. This tour package comes with an experienced Alaskan Bush Pilot who will provide you with a memorable tour of the island via float planes.

Once airborne you will have the opportunity to view Kodiak's wildlife, including Mountain Goats, Elk, and possibly the Bears of Kodiak. It is also possible to view Commercial  Fishing Operations, Set Net Sites, Native Villages, and Old Afognak Village. You may also see some of Kodiak's marine life during your trip.

Water landing at a remote beach midway through the trip is a highlight of many. At this time you will be provided a light snack and enjoy a few minutes on the water. We look forward to meeting you and giving you a taste of what we enjoy every day!

Join Andrew Airways, Inc. on a guided full day of bear and wildlife viewing! This adventure consists of a float plan ride to and from remote parts of Kodiak, or the Katmai Coast. Spend the day watching bears and other Alaskan wildlife.

Trips are usually focused on area with the most bear activity. Shuttle service to and from aircraft are provided as well as hip boots.

Join Andrew Airways, Inc. as we view Kodiak Bears and other wildlife on a guided full day float trip. This adventure consist of a float plane ride off loading at a lake, then rafting approximately 7 miles on a gentle river to a salt marsh. We will be viewing wildlife along the way.

Boots, life vests, lunch, and snacks will be provided Shuttle service to and from aircraft are also provided.

Sea, land and bird life are abundant on the Kodiak Island Archipelago and the Katmai Coast. Animals you may see include bear, red fox, short-tailed weasel (ermine), little brown bats, tundra vole and rifer otters. Introduced species include snowshoe hare, mountain goat, SItka black-tailed deer, arctic ground squirrel, Roosevelt elk, muskrat, red squirrel and beaver.

If you are a bird watcher, Kodiak is the place for you! Common birds include fox sparows, golden-crowned kinglets, winter wrens, pine siskin, water pipits, and rock willow ptarmigan. Large numbers of eagles can be spotted along the Kodiak waterfront in fall and winter. Sea birds, ducks and geese are everywhere; including Steller's and King Eider, Old Squaw and Harlequin Ducks, Horned and Tufted Puffins, and Black-Legged Kittiwakes. Marine mammals include Steller Sea Lions and Sea Otters. Fin, Minke Humpback Killer, and Gray whales can be found in the waters of Kodiak.
