Alpenview Wilderness Lodge

AlpenView offers a unique combination of both saltwater and freshwater experiences.

Alpenview Wilderness Lodge is located on the shore of Ugak Bay and boasts great saltwater fishing and access to six freshwater river systems. The 36' FINLANDER is the queen of AlpenView's fleet of watercraft. She is aided by several skiffs and kayaks to fully explore the wonders of Ugak Bay.

AlpenView's out-camp is located on the Ayakulik River, 50 miles west of the lodge. The Ayakulik is in the heart of the Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge and has one of Alaska's highest concentrations of brown bear. Large runs of King, sockeye and silver salmon, Dolly Varden and steelhead make for outstanding freshwater fishing.
